TLC – formative assessment

First TLC of the new session and we discussed formative assessment. We were given a handout on 5 ways to confirm formative assessment during lessons. I added the various stages from both CfE AND HMIe learning rounds as well as the HMIe percentage scales. For example did you know that if they say ‘almost all’ they mean 90% and upwards and ‘few’ is under 15% of the class? Useful methinks. Anyway form attached – use and amend as you will.
